Just moments away before embarking on another trip, taking a short breather off from local grounds and context. This trip although having been pre-planned in the late months of the previous year, so much thought has been put into within the family especially when it constitutes the company of my grandparents. No it ain't like those rare occasions where extended families are being called upon for such a vacation like this, though everyone in the family does make it a commonality to have such travel plans inclusive of my grandparents specifically put forth as a reminder of life's greatest joy. That such feelings should be shared among loved ones in the moment of time. After all, age is slowly catching up and hence, such an opportunity could only be very well seized as it presented to be. You might ponder why it was earlier mentioned that a whole lot of thought was put into this trip, taking into consideration that it involves extended family members in it. To simply sum it up, we are unable to foresee how my grandparents will respond and adapt to possible cold climatic conditions as forecasted there. It could be a misconception that they'll have it challenging since they have never experienced such cooling climates in the western part of the globe but a possibility of misjudgment can also occur overlooking on how they will react to it. Thus, a whole lot of discussion and planning took priority throughout.
Regardless, there are a few things specifically iconic that will be highly anticipated and well looked forward to on this trip. To mention a few would be the visit to the Grand Mosque, a drive by memento of the Aegean Sea, a social call on the Underground City and definitely one to mention would be the hot air balloon ride, crossing my fingers on this one in the hopes that prevailing weather conditions permit its safe flight operations. A whole lot more yet to mention and to explore lies within the itinerary so perhaps one impedimenta that all of you can look forward to would be the post trip write up in order to gain a better perspective and coverage on the entire backlog of this journey.

If we're fortunate enough, snow could be experienced but even if the circumstances doesn't make way for it, the weather will be considerably chilly and cooling with lows of close to freezing points and highs at below normal than average room temperatures. I guess I couldn't ask for a much better escapade from the warm and humid climate most of us are experiencing on a day-to-day basis here. Packing for this trip hasn't been at all accommodating given the kind of temperatures that we're headed toward, not aggravating too much unnecessary weight in the luggage. As much as I would have wanted to, extensive effort on minimal exaggeration on the accoutrements of chilly conditions definitely was relooked upon. Nonetheless, a plethora of thicker than normal long sleeved tops took precedence over everything else needed made way into the pack. Although the weather may be better anticipated with the days drawing closer, there was still that slightest possibility of oversight on how many is really enough. Took nearly close to two weeks of prior planning on what would best fit the packing list for this trip. Let's just hope that there was enough anticipation and thought put forth as soon as the journey kicks off.
There's going to be a whole lot of patience needed getting from one point to another travelling within cities to visit specific landmarks and boundaries in a country full of robust and a rich wealth of history. Perhaps even a close to two-long weeks there might not even suffice since so much of time would be spent on the road. The distance may be dreadful but ultimately the miles being apart from home and loved ones may take on an even deeper toll on me.

Having said all that, for those who have yet to grasp and determine where this trip will be to, it will be to Turkey and I will be away between early to mid February in the hopes that newer personal content and ideas will be discovered. Not to mention, the clarity of joy that we're all seeking and anticipating highly on will be priority, simply top of the list just like all the previous many vacations we've all had. As a reader, what you can possibly expect after I journey on this trip would simply be the possibility of immersing into a whole different dimension and experience from this blog, with two new write-ups on the moments captured and waiting to be expressed. Alongside all that, a likelihood of an upcoming trailer project on this journey could be developed as I get my hands on the DJI Osmo Pocket high-definition video capturing device, looking to create the best montage and memories out of it all. Wishing for a safe trip ahead and looking to continue keeping tabs with local context whenever I see myself missing home for a little bit.
Although i may not be leaving for New Zealand that could have span close to three years long, perhaps a less than two weeks escapade to Turkey shouldn't be too far fetched and indeed time will pass faster than it seem. Praying for a safe trip ahead and looking to catch up with all of you soon.
