My 2019

January

2019

A month filled with plenty of surprises and gifts ending the year on a high. Celebrated the joyous 23rd birthday with my family and partner. There was simply no better way to end off the year with so much love and surprises filled in such short span of time. It gave me all the many reasons to look forward to December on an annual basis. What an amazing end to the year.

December

2018

Of all the many years living, I will forever cherish having chanced upon the opportunity to experience Kygo Live in Singapore for the very first time. Glad that my partner and i have the same liking and deep appreciation for his unique tunes and mix, especially his hit soundtrack of Stargazing with Justin Jesso. Definitely one of the best moments to reminisce upon. November was just awesome beyond words. Could you please take me back to this day?

November

2018

Beautiful month with the much needed deserved break with the family from a long two year stint serving the nation as i grasp a different breath of air in Thailand. An experience of happy times at the sunflower exhibition with partner and a beautiful surprise from her purchasing and obtaining our first ever Universal Studios Singapore 6-months Season Pass. It can't get any better than this.

October

2018

A high demanding month where decision making was most critical on the next parting step of higher education. Needed to make that once in a lifetime choice on what's the best interest for future prospects, having to pull out from that two-year waiting given by New Zealand for something more grounded on the basis of reality. Was also the month I tried applying for an airline cadet pilot programme as a form of exposure and stepping stone. Although i didn't get into the airline just yet, aviation has and will always be my passion. There's always a next time. Not forgetting the month of sunset driving through the beautiful skyline and planes.

September

2018

Simply one of the months that I've been highly anticipating for the past two years having ended my national service stint and officially transitioned back into civilian life. It was a challenging journey throughout but the loved ones who pushed me to greater heights made me the person I am today. Celebrated this momentous milestone with my partner where a surprise outing celebration was done up just so we will remember this huge achievement together. The month where freedom returns. Relaunch of Storify Moments took place in this month too.

August

2018

Two major milestones witnessed in this month with the grant of my driving license after two attempts, officially allowing me to drive with full freedom and celebrating with full festivity over the one-year anniversary with my partner. This month will indefinitely bring a whole lot of memories to be fond of in the future. Looking back at how fast time has flown only makes me cherishes such moments more. Best moments are usually accompanied by great companions.

July

2018

An iconic and memorable month of celebration on my partner's birthday for the first time together, and that it has been thoughtfully planned out to ensure that the surprise went well. Something to remember as i managed to step out of my comfort zone to ensure that the day went accordingly as envisioned. It was also the month where I sat for my first driving test assessment but unfortunately failed on this first attempt. All in all, it was still a milestone worth remembering for a really long time.

June

2018

A mix of emotions throughout the month of May with a whole lot of downfall simply heading southward. Not forgetting how challenging it got with the fasting month and soldiering life overlapping one another. Remembered how helpless it got being held back performing my duty for the nation while my partner was out hospitalized. Nothing was in favor and so the only thing that kept us going was hope and positivity. Nonetheless, upon speedy recovery and discharging from the hospital, the month simply ended off on a good note with a family buffet at the Kublai Khan restaurant.

May

2018

Technically the first ever Universal Studios Singapore visit with my partner and that definitely was the first of many Sentosa trips and adventures together. Most of the time, it's really just fine reliving the life of a young kid. April was a rather busy and occupied month as a whole.

April

2018

Just one of those months where a main particular event stands out. Where one of my partner's bestfriend got engaged and was glad to be part of it in some way or another. Guess many are at that age feeling all ready to settle down. When my time comes, it needs to be big and memorable as such. March was pretty much quite chilling.

March

2018

Another milestone with six months of national service stint left to serve and with all the countdown beginning. Enrolled on my first ever driving practical lesson on the journey to attaining my licensing approval to drive. So much more commitment to devote in the remaining half of the year.

February

2018

Going through a brand new year brings a whole new different vibe and feeling that so much more can be achieved with the gift of time. January came in pretty low toned as I finally close in to a third of a quarter done with National Service. Supposedly left with a year in Singapore in the event I proceed with furthering my studies in New Zealand.
